It feels good to be back again. I’ve been away for too long! Hope you’ve all been well?
I was reading the book of Ecclesiastes 3 and came across this ” There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity
under the heavens” hmmm! Timing.
I started thinking of all the things that I needed to do that I’ve been putting off for another day and it hit me like lightening. What if I never get the chance again? What if right now is the perfect time and I missed it?
I read a story (can’t remember where ) of how a lady was saving some briefs her husband gave her for a special day, which she never lived to see.
Maybe you’ve been planning that special vacation for you and your spouse alone and then show him how much you love him. Why not show him today?
Quit putting things off for tomorrow! Every day is worth living well. Procrastination opens the door to stagnation. When you keep planning without ever taking a step, you find out that life becomes still. Of course you’re growing physically,-getting older with nothing to show for.
Would it be normal to see an eighteen year old in pre-school? Wrong timing!
1There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:
2 a time to be born and a time to
die, a time to plant and a time to
3 a time to kill and a time to
heal, a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to
laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a
time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6 a time to search and a time to
give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to
mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to
hate, a time for war and a time for
11 He has made everything
beautiful in its time. He has also
set eternity in the human heart;
What time is it for you? Do what needs to be done now!
